Sri Lanka is facing a dual humanitarian emergency. Days of relentless rain, followed by Cyclone Ditwah, have triggered deadly floods and landslides across much of the island. Hundreds of people have lost their lives, with many more still missing, and more than a million people have been affected by what is being described as the country’s worst flooding in years.
