Purify your fast and bring joy to families in need.
What is Zakat ul-Fitr?
Zakat Ul Fitr is an obligatory form of charity that every Muslim must give before Eid al-Fitr prayer. It serves two sacred purposes:
Purification of the Fast
Purifies the fasting person from any indecent speech or actions during Ramadan.
Food for the Needy
Provides food for the poor so they can celebrate Eid with joy and dignity.
"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ordained Zakat al-Fitr to purify the fasting person from indecent words or actions, and to provide food for the needy."
Give Fitrana
This Ramadan, every member in your family needs to pay Fitrana in the amount of £7 to feed our impoverished brothers and sisters. By giving Fitrana, you help provide food and support for families, children, and elders, allowing them to celebrate Eid with dignity, comfort, and peace of mind.
