Syrian Refugee Crisis in Lebanon.

Lebanon, a country already stretched thin, now hosts over a million Syrians who fled the brutality of a decade-long civil war. They came seeking refuge, hoping for a chance to heal, but the reality they face is far from what they imagined. Families live in poorly heated tents, wrapped in thin blankets that do little to shield them from the brutal cold of the long winter months.

The UN reports that 90% of Syrian refugee households in Lebanon live in extreme poverty — a crisis made even worse by Lebanon’s ongoing economic collapse and political turmoil. As poverty tightens its grip, the dreams of these families are smothered under the weight of relentless hardship.
