3. Calculate Nisab: The calculator will then compare your net assets to the Nisab threshold, which is the minimum amount required for Zakat to be obligatory. The Nisab is based on the value of 87.48 grams of gold or 612.36 grams of silver.
4. Determine Zakat Payable: Once the Nisab is established, the calculator will automatically apply the 2.5% rate to your net assets above the Nisab threshold to determine the total Zakat you need to pay.
